I'm really excited that I just found out about the Cinematic Treasures Series at The Grand Theater in Tracy. A few times over the next couple of months, The Grand will be showing classic movies at a great price (about $3). The Birds, The Godfather Trilogy, and a special midnight showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show are all listed on their calendar. (Each film is only shown once.)

Their site is little bit clunky but if you click on an event in the calendar, more information pops up. And it also appears that you can purchase tickets online for some of the shows.
Check out their other events, too. There will be a community theater presentation of the musical, Annie, in May, (auditions are today, by the way) which would also be fun to take the kiddies to.
